What is the Senior Experience?

Chris Davis at Work
The Senior Experience is a project-based learning program that was started here at Clinton High School by Jennifer Howard and Kim Windsor in 2009. In essence, the Senior Experience is a semester-long project that every senior here at CHS must undertake prior to graduation.
Each student undergoing the Experience is responsible for creating a project comprised of four parts:
  • Research Paper: Each student must write a 3-5 page research paper on a given topic.
  • Portfolio: Each student must create a portfolio that chronicles his or her entire experience.
  • Presentation: Each student must carry out a 15-minute presentation to a group of judges selected from the community.
  • Product: Each student must have a tangible product that demonstrates what he or she has learned.
For further information on the Senior Experience, please check the links on the left-hand column of this page, contact the current Directors of the Senior Experience here at the high school, Lawry Sharp and Jamie Roszel. Their names and/or e-mail addresses can be found on their Teacher Webpage.

Thanks for checking in, and go Red Devils!
