The Motto for Laurens County School District 56 is Caring, Connecting, and Committed to Excellence. We strive to do the little things that demonstrate there is a caring family style atmosphere in the district. We appreciate the students, parents, community and employees in district and work to insure our actions demonstrate this high level of appreciation. We also want to improve connections to our community. The district has established input committees like the Parent Advisory Committee and the Teacher Advisory Committee to receive and respond to input. We are improving the district's web presence and communication systems to maintain a viable interactive communication network with all of our stakeholders. We are connecting to the past to build on the traditions in the school district and connecting to the future to integrate technology and information management into the administrative and instructional programs. We have made a commitment to seek the resources to build on the level of academic excellence in the district. We are expanding the career exploration opportunities, the innovation uses of technology, and the expectations for our students to excel academically. Laurens County School District 56 is a district on the rise with a road-map to academic prominence and high connectivity with all aspects of the community.
